Hiring restrictions

Full terms and conditions of hire can be available in our office and on your rental agreement. The following is a brief summary of the major points.

Please note: only the hirer who signs the rental agreement is the person entitled to drive.

What you need

On collecting a vehicle, you must bring:

  • A utility bill, bank statement or council tax bill to prove your current address
  • Your driving licence (old style or new plastic license)
  • A debit or credit card. You can still pay in cash but a debit or credit card is required as ID

We do not ask for large security deposits

Age restrictions

Each driver must be over 25 and under 75 years of age and have held a full license for 24 months.

Penalties

We cannot hire to drivers with an offence such as DR, CD, IN and AC obtained in the last 5 years. Or hirers with more than 6 points on the licence.

If you are unsure please call before booking online, as we will refuse to hire otherwise.

Mileage limitations

Daily hire has a mileage limit of 200 miles.

Any excess mileage is charged at 10p per mile. All other hire periods, are unlimited mileage.
